We are sailing into spring and away from winter will soon be slipping into port. That makes now the perfect time to plan our summer adventures!
To celebrate the ebb and flow of the season's this month's Colour Inspiration project flows from the Come Sail Away suite. It's a perfect set for summer, although it's a staple you can enjoy all year. Both the Sailing Home stamp set and coordinating Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper are my new go-to for masculine cards for all occasions. Check out how colour can help summer sail into fall!

I find it amazing how colour can help the feel of one seasonal staple sail smoothly into another season. Summer, the ocean, and beaches go together like peanut butter and jelly. Combine Night of Navy, Balmy Blue, and bright Whisper White and you have the picture perfect summery scene. Add in the warmth of Terracotta Tile and suddenly you have a combination that feels a bit more antiqued, vintage, and perfect for autumn.
The first card has a fresh, crisp style featuring the Painted Harvest stamp set (#144783) and a non-nautical or masculine look created with striped paper from the Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper (#149481). The card is finished with a bit of Terracotta Tile 1/2" Scalloped Linen Ribbon (#149705), topped with a greeting and accent punched with the Timeless Label Punch (#149516) and Leaf Punch (#144667).
This second card features the Sailing Home Bundle (#151066) which includes the Sailing Home stamp set (#149457) and coordinating Smooth Sailing Dies (#149576). It also uses the Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper (#149481), 1-1/2" Circle Punch (#138299), and a bold sunset on the water effect created with Sponge Daubers (#133773) and ink.
