New In Colors are here! Really that's enough to make me happy. I'm excited to inspire you with three of these new colours: Pretty Peacock, Terracotta Tile, and Seaside Spray. These three are a great modern version of some of the bold colours of nature and I think they are going to be very popular! What do you think? 

The first sample features the exclusive Host Reward stamp set called Time for Tags (#149423). This set is designed to coordinate with the Timeless Label Punch (#149516). I've also used the Buffalo Check background stamp, (#151372 cling) to mimic the gingham pattern from the In Color 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper (#149617). The last little touch is the Pretty Peacock 1/2" Scalloped Linen Ribbon. Did you notice the ribbon used as a scalloped accent layer? You are going to love this ribbon - it's available in all five of the 2019-2021 In Colors! 

The second sample features the Free as a Bird stamp set (#149468) with the Terracotta Tile note card from the Scalloped Note Cards & Envelopes (#149610), and Pretty Peacock gingham paper from the 2019-2021 In Color 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper (#149617). I love how these fancy little cards are ready to quickly create a sweet note to add to a gift or drop in the mail!

To a Wild Rose

Hello  I've taken advantage of some beautiful winters days to sit back and dream over the new Annual Catalogue, I hope you have, too! There are so many projects I want to make and new things to try.  Something that really jumped out at me was the beauty and value of having a well rounded supply of coordinating products. Looking at the suites with coordinating stamps, dies, paper, and embellishments made me realize how much I love having the basics that all coordinate. It makes it so much easier to create something beautiful and now, with storage to keep the ink pads, markers, refills, and such all together - I'm a happy stamper!  If your wish list is looking anything like mine, contact me to plan an event where you can have fun stamping with friends, trying new products, and earn some new goodies with host rewards! So many reasons to create a card, keep a memory, and share a gift. I hope you enjoy this month's tutorial featuring all new products, including the beautiful sketch art images from the A Good Man stamp set, Watercolor Pencils, and the must-have Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper!  Have Fun, ShonaGai A Good Man Card If you are like me, making cards for guys can be a struggle. The sketch art images and thoughtful greetings make the A Good Man stamp set perfect for those elusive guy cards for Father's Day, Thankyous, and birthdays.  The images look great alone, with a watercolor wash background, or coloured with Watercolor Pencils or Stampin' Blends, so you have lots of options.  The Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper is the perfect backdrop for masculine cards, with or without a nautical theme.  Enjoy! Card Base & Inside Cut Night of Navy cardstock to 5-1/2" x 7-3/4". Score at 4-1/4" along 7-3/4" side. The shorter section is the card front. Cut striped paper to 1" x 5-1/2". Adhere to inside right edge. Add 3" x 5-1/4" Whisper White paper inside card. Stamp & Colour Stamp image from A Good Man stamp set with Tuxedo Black Memento ink on     2" x 4" Whisper White cardstock. Colour with Watercolor Pencils. Colour lightly and add more colour to shades areas of the design. Blend Watercolor Pencils Use a Blender Pen to blend and shade the stamped image coloured with Watercolor Pencils. Start with the lightest colour. Scribble on scrap paper to clean the Blender Pen between colours. Use Watercolor Pencils to add more detail or shading as needed. Stamp & Punch Stamp greeting on scrap Balmy Blue cardstock with Night of Navy ink. Punch with Timeless Label Punch. Add adhesive behind label and zig-zag 3/16" Braided Linen Trim across the back of the label. Assemble Card Adhere 3-1/4" x 5-1/2" striped paper to card front. Adhere stamped and coloured Whisper White layer to 2-1/4" x 4-1/4" Night of Navy layer. Adhere layers and label to card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
